Wilma Jean Mitchell, 70, died April 13, 2004 of cancer at Kavanagh
House on 56th Street. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, April
20 at Chapel Hill Gardens Cemetery.
Wilma was born March 11, 1934 in Winterset, Iowa. She was involved
with the New Horizon in Adel.
Wilma is survived by her son, Richard Carlson of Oklahoma; daughter,
Renee Elings of Norwalk, IA; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild;
brothers, James (Joan) Klingaman of LaClaire, IA, and Keith (Dottie)
Klingaman of Girard, OH; and sister, Judy (Ted) Elings of Ankeny,
IA. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Mitchell.
